Ok, here a more or less final version of Memoria,
had to cut back a bit on the sunlight since it was illuminating the lanterns too much.

Am happy with the texture, thx Marcel ;)

In the final comp I'll have smoke coming out the grates and some shiny particles aswell,
and lanterns that aren't completely wrong perspective-wise

You put the lanterns as you told !
Very cool !

I'll ad a lantern but without light, a lantern in the middle of the others that don't have light, because nothing is perfect, just to keep a balance, is like the christmas tree's lights, there's always a god damn light that doesn't turn on, doesn't work, but all the others they do.
Is an idea, that's all, i'm not criticing your art (man, i love your art) is only a sugestion with a very good theory behind, that's all.
Now... KEEP ON DRAWING !!!! lol

I must say, as beautiful as this is, I really liked the first, lantern-free version. Such simplicity, and yet a true graphic identity, that let the viewer's imagination wander, building up wild stories to go with this environment.

believe it or not,I actually already have two close ups of malfunctioning lamps in the film, it's kind of already got a meaning
that lamps buzz on and off.
